The mission of the Nazarene Church is to "go and make disciples of all nations". We pray that you'll find love packaged in the truth of the gospel that is delivered in every service. We believe that the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ will set you free and you will live the life you were destined to live.

Our Pastor

Our pastor is a South Haven - NW Indiana guy. Pastor Scott was raised here. His mom and dad were steel workers. He is from a blue collar people and he understands this community as well as anyone. He speaks with a sense of understanding. He understands his own relationship with Jesus & he has an ability to make the Bible feel real and relevant in our times and our situations.



Scott comes across a bit like a friendly football coach with a passion like Mike Ditka. He has an encouraging message of hope...for even those of us who who feel most hopeless. There is nothing fake about this pastor and you'll even laugh a bit as he tells stories about life, work, school, kids, and even his own struggles with God.

Follow Jesus

Following Jesus all starts with a single step. But that first step is easier said than done isn't it? Sometimes the hardest part about going to a new church is just the first step into the building.


We hope that you take that first step and join us this Sunday morning at 10a. You'll find that above all else, we are a friendly group of NW Indiana people, simply trying to follow Jesus. We are trying to be more generous in the way we live our lives and in the way we love others.

Work Together

Work Together, it's what we do. We know how difficult it can be to be alone in this world and it's hard to find answers all by your self when life just doesn't make sense anymore. We believe that people are better when they pull together...so that's what we try to do. 

We encourage people to connect in cooperation instead of conflicting with each other in isolation. 



But, like that first step of Following Jesus, Working Together is easier said than done.

You might notice - there is a bit of an order to it. First, we follow Jesus, then we try to work together, and when we do those things well we truly find that we can MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR GOOD and help change the world in NW Indiana.


It's a huge goal to change the world, and we know that it's way bigger than we are, but it's worth trying to do. Through it all, we'll keep trying to nudge our community one step closer to Jesus every day. You are invited to join us!

  • What can I expect from Renovation Church?

    Renovation Church is a Nazarene community of Christians dedicated to the formation of disciples who make disciples. It is our wish to warmly welcome you and your family into our Nazarene community. We are Nazarene, which means we welcome anybody who just wants to worship in Spirit and Truth. It doesn't matter your age, gender, clothing, or Biblical knowledge (or lack thereof). Please come as you are! Learn, grow, and get a true sense of who Christ of the Nazarene is. We want to convey Jesus Christ's love and the gospel truth that will set you free! The Nazarene mission is to make disciples from disciples. 

  • Can I request prayer online?

    Absolutely! Our church would love to pray for you. If you are in need of special prayer, click on the "Request Prayer" button in the bottom right corner of the website. Here, you have the choice to keep your request private, only for our pastoral team, or to be made public to the church- so that more may pray for your need. If you are looking for a church to call home, we hope you will join us at Renovation Church
